Biography
For me, the law has become an integral part of my life. It’s where I find my meaning as a man, a husband, a father, and a lawyer. When people ask me what kind of lawyer I am, I usually tell them that first and foremost, I am a peacemaker.
My path to a career in law began with earning a B.S. degree at Portland State University. A law professor there steered me to Willamette University, where I earned my JD in 1984. Thus far, I’ve been living the American Dream. I’ve been married for over 40 years and have two children and four grandchildren.
I’ve been practicing law in Tualatin now for well over 40 years. In that time, I’ve represented many people with a lot of different people problems. I’ve learned what it means to help with suffering the law’s sting, in all its many legal forms. I have purposely chosen not to specialize in any one area of law because I’ve learned that a good dose of common sense is usually sufficient to solve most legal problems. For these reasons, I have chosen to be a general practitioner. I help people with what I can, and if I cannot help them, I refer them to a specialist when one is truly needed.
If you are suffering from a legal hurt, let me try to get you back on track to the life you want.
